HARD CLAY SOFTENER -- MUD OUT (K-686)
Mud, Dirt, & Clay Remover. Works in
wastewater lines to chemically break up clumps of hardened
matter into a mixture of suspended light, small, fluffy particles
that easily flush on through with normal water flow. Mud Out
is Biodegradable, Non-Flammable, Water-Soluble and Environmentally
Safe. Storm Sewers or Sewer Lines that have blocked or reduced
flow due to a buildup of mud or silt, sand, dirt, sludge or clay
can be treated with this concentrate. Soap residues which have
hardened in lines from temperature changes can also be broken
up and flushed away. Product will reduce soil debris which has
been trapped and compacted by tree roots in lines, although in-line
roots are themselves a separate problem requiring their own attention.
(Note: For Tree Roots in wastewater lines we highly recommend
regular maintenance with K&K COPPER SULFATE, available
in a large rock crystal form.) Hard water or high temperature
do not affect the efficiency of Mud Out, but removal of severe encrustations
may be aided by high pressure flushing of product into manhole

FLOATING LIFT STATION CLEANER -- RED FLOAT (K-690)
Cleans, Degreases
and Reduces Odor. As raw sewage flows into lift station
to await pumping to a treatment facility, accumulation of sewage,
grease, oils, fatty acids, and calcium and magnesium soaps form
deposits on the walls and equipment. These deposits reduce the
volume capacity and effectiveness of the wet well, and by their
natural decomposition process emit offensive odors. To return
the lift station to optimum efficiency, the accumulation of debris
must be removed or substantially reduced. RED FLOAT is designed
to be a fast breaking emulsifier, possessing degreasing and detergent
properties which effortlessly clean the vertical surfaces of the
stations as the water level fluctuates. A
secondary benefit of this unique product is its ability to seal
or contain offensive malodors which emit from the lift station.
