Directions for use: Grease Traps... For a typical 1,000 gallon trap with 2 to 4 inches of grease on top, break up the crustation with a hoe or stick. Prepare a "shock treatment" by slowly adding 10-13 lbs. of Inviro-Zide to a 5 or 6 gallon bucket of warm water. Stir mixture until it all is dissolved. Shock the trap by pouring this slurry directly in and replacing the cover lid. Inflow and outflow cleanouts beside the trap may also be treated with 1/2 cup of dissolved product. During the first month after shocking, add 1/2 cup of dissolved product to sink and floor drains twice a week to liquify all grease in lines. After the first month, treatment may be reduced to once per week as a last task at the end of the week to maintain clean lines and trickle new cultures to the trap. Note that if a grease trap has a vast accumulation of firm flotation, probing at 6 inches or more, such grease should be pumped out before shocking for program to be cost effective.
Sewage system and lines... For an average system add 1 cup product per 1,000 gallon capacity initially and then maintain with 1/2 cup each month. Easy to add by flushing down toilet bowls. HARD CLAY SOFTENER DRAIN LINE MUD OUT (K-686)

Mud, Dirt, & Clay Remover. Works in wastewater lines to chemically break up clumps of hardened matter into a mixture of suspended light, small, fluffy particles that easily flush on through with normal water flow. Mud Out is Biodegradable, Non-Flammable, Water-Soluble and Environmentally Safe. Storm Sewers or Sewer Lines that have halted or reduced flow due to a buildup of mud or silt, sand, dirt, sludge or clay can be treated with this concentrate. Soap residues which have hardened in lines from temperature changes can also be broken up and flushed away. Product will reduce soil debris which have been trapped and compacted by tree roots in lines, although in-line roots are themselves a separate problem requiring their own attention. (Note: For Tree Roots in wastewater lines we highly recommend regular maintenance with K&K COPPER SULFATE, available in a large rock crystal form.) Hard water or high temperature do not affect the efficiency of Mud Out, but severe encrustations may be aided by high pressure flushing of product into manhole lines. Directions: To Purge sewer lines... Add 1 gallon of product into manhole for each 150 linear feet of 12" diameter pipe. To maintain lines... Alternate dosage is 1 gallon of product for each 15,000 gallons of estimated wastewater every 8-10 weeks, or more often as needed as in storm drains fed by severe erosion runoff. Orange Krush (O.K.) instantly emulsifies grease, oils, fats and even tar without the use of harsh acids, alkalines, or petroleum solvents. O.I. has a natural citrus fragrance to deodorize under the worst conditions. Vapors are not considered harmful, allowing for usage in many ways inside of facilities or outdoors. O.K. is used as a degreaser on equipment, motors, trucks, concrete floors and parking lots. Sewer Line Degreaser. Emulsifying agent and odor control for garbage and sewer grease. Also an excellent degreaser for surface wash. Designed to liquify sewage and garbage grease, open leaching beds, clean drain lines, cesspools, grease traps and septic tanks. As well as the solvent activity, concentrate provides a powerful odor masking agent for use in eliminating malodors in garbage dumps, trash cans and dumpsters, landfill sites and sewer plants. Directions: Treatment Plants... (1) as a masking agent, dilute product with water at a ratio of 1:30 and spray over area to be treated or add through a drip type dispenser; (2) to liquify sewer grease and fat, use at rate between 1 and 20 gallons product per million gallons of sewage flow, and drip at trickling filter. Garbage Dumps, Landfills, and Sludgebeds... Dilute 6 gallons of product to 150 gallons of water. Apply this solution with a pressure sprayer having a solvent resistant hose at the rate of 50 gallons per 1,200 square feet of area. Drain Lines and Grease Traps... Add 8 oz. to a gallon of water and pour in each drain, repeating each week. Large floor drains may require more product. It is recommended to flush residue from PVC lines after allotted working time. Garbage Trucks and Dumpsters... Wash with a solution of 1 gallon of product to 40 gallons of water, scrub brush, and pressure rinse with clean water. CAUTION: Flammable.
